Children's Ministries

We join hands with parents during the formative years of their children’s lives to plant seeds of the gospel that will eventually grow into a life dedicated to following Christ faithfully.

“I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made”

— Psalm 139:14

Nursery/Child Care

We provide trained, loving care for infants through 2-year olds during all church services in the nursery on the first floor in rooms 1310-1320 in the south part of the building. Our on-duty registered nurse and vetted volunteers ensure that you are only a moment away from your child, should you be needed. See the nursery coordinator in the nursery for more information.

Sunday School

In Sunday School, kids from 2 ½ years through 5th grade learn from Bible lessons, hands-on exercises, and music upstairs in rooms 2209-2323 during the 8:45 a.m. hour on Sunday mornings. Children from 2 ½ to 5 years old stay in their class rooms for the 10:00 a.m. hour as well. See the Sunday School coordinator next to the balcony overlooking the south lobby for more information.

Children’s Church

Children from kindergarten through 5th grade sit with their parents for the music portion of our 10:00 a.m. service and then are dismissed to Children’s Church in the chapel at the time indicated in the bulletin for a time of music and a Bible lesson aimed at young hearts and minds.

Sonshine Kids

Children from 4 years through kindergarten are invited to take part in the Sonshine kids on Sunday nights. After sitting with their parents in the evening service music from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., they are dismissed to rooms on the second floor for a time of Bible lessons and music until the end of the service at 7:30 p.m.

Adventure Club

Though it includes Bible lessons, team games, and music, Scripture memorization is the heart of the Adventure Club program. Children 3 years old through the 5th grade are invited to participate in Adventure Club during the school year Wednesday nights starting at 6:45 p.m.

Vacation Bible School

For one week each summer, the church is transformed into a castle, lagoon, lighthouse, airplane hangar, farm, or some other exotic locale for Vacation Bible School. The children have thematic Bible lessons, learn music, do crafts, and play games in a week that is edifying, a good outreach opportunity, and great fun for all involved.

Boys of Faith

The Boys of Faith ministry ministers to boys from 1st through 6th grades on Sunday evenings during the school year. This ministry is designed to help boys grow into godly young men through Bible lessons, music, games, activities, mentorship, and special events like a pinewood derby, a lock in, camp-outs, and Summer Camp. They start at 6:00 p.m. in the gym on Sunday nights and then disperse to rooms throughout the Bible Learning Center.

Girls of Grace

Girls of Grace is our Sunday evening school-year ministry for girls in 1st through 6th grades. The goal of the Girls of Grace ministry is to help these girls grow into godly young ladies through Bible lessons, music, activities, mentorship, and special events like Daddy-Daughter Date Night, Mother-Daughter Tea, Fall retreat, and Summer Camp. They start at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday nights and meet throughout the church building.
