February 7 @ 7:15 am - 5:30 pm

http://www.jham.org/wp/jham-ski-trip

Saturday, February 7

Meet at the Jham Room at 7:15 a.m. – We will return to church at 5:30 p.m.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!
Parents will have to purchase their student’s ski/snowboard rental and lift ticket themselves on the Mt. Crescent’s website by setting up an account with them and then making the purchase(s) for the day we are going. (Step-by-step instructions are below.) The sooner you purchase your rentals the better as they have a limited number that they will sell on any particular day!

Also Note: Crescent is now cashless so students will need some type of debit/credit card to purchase items at their concession stands.

Here is the pricing totals you can expect on their website:
Age 13 and up ski/snowboard rental & lift ticket: $86.83
Age 12 and under ski/snowboard rental & lift ticket: $81.26
Lift ticket only (have your own skis or snowboard): 13&up: $53.50 / 12&under: $47.93
Helmet Rental (not required): $15

LESSONS NOTE
We will have several adults with us that are ready and willing to help the students learn to ski if they have not done so before. In our experience this has been more helpful than paying extra for group lessons. You are welcome to purchase lessons on the Mt. Crescent website, but rest assured your student will receive instruction and assistance from our own sponsors if they want or need it!

LUNCH NOTE
Each student will need to either bring a sack lunch or money (debit or credit card) to eat at the ski lodge concession stand.

TO REGISTER FOR SKI TRIP:

1. Follow the instructions below to set up an account on the Mt. Crescent website and purchase your student(s) rental(s) and lift ticket(s).
2. Once you have the ticket/rental purchased, sign up with us so that we know your student is coming here. I will share my list of names with Mt. Crescent before we go so they can look up and verify that they have tickets and rentals purchased and in their system for all students on the list.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 4

WHAT TO BRING:
1. Sack lunch or money for concessions
2. Gloves, stocking cap, sunglasses or goggles and duffle bag/backpack to carry everything
3. Snow pants or ski bib (dress in layers in case you get warm and want to shed layers)
4. Sunscreen for face
5. Boots are not needed as you will get ski boots to wear

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SETTING UP ACCOUNT AND PURCHASING TICKETS/RENTALS WITH MT. CRESCENT:

  1. Go to www.skicrescent.com and select “My Account” and either log in to your existing account or create a new account.
  2. After you have the account set up, select the lift ticket product and then under “Party Member” select “Add New Party Member” to add your student and their information to your account.
  3. Select February 7 as the date for the lift ticket and then add the lift ticket to your cart.
  4. Select a ski or snowboard rental (unless your student has their own equipment) making sure you also select February 7 as the date for the rental and assign the rental to your student.
  5. IMPORTANT: Add the waiver product (for $0) to your cart and assign it to your student so that you can sign the waiver for them. This must be done for anyone under the age of 18.
  6. According to my contact at Mt. Crescent, the student will just need to give their name upon arrival and they will be able to look up their ticket/rental info.

If you don’t get an order confirmation e-mail from Mt. Crescent, check your junk mail folder as that is where mine went last year!
