Outreach Ministries

Evangelism is a corporate and individual responsibility. The church’s mission is to make disciples by going into the world with the soul-saving, life-transforming, message of Jesus Christ.

“Him we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ”

— Colossians 1:28

Planned Events for the Spring, Summer, and Fall:

Door-to-Door Evangelism

Teams will knock on doors in our community, passing out invitations and Gospel tracts. If you are new to this ministry we will team you up with someone who has experience. We meet at church at 6:15pm on Mondays.

Holmes Lake Evangelism

A Prayer Tower is a focal point for those passing by at Holmes Lake Park, helping us begin Gospel conversations. It is a wonderful evening of fellowship as well! We meet at Holmes Lake on Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

Courthouse Evangelism

The Courthouse is a great place to discuss man’s greatest need–salvation from sin. We meet at the Lancaster County Court Clerk Fridays at 9:30am.

Winter Opportunities

Boat, Sport, and Travel Show

IHCC members run a booth for 3 days in February, handing out invitations and tracts to all who pass by.

Nursing Home Evangelism

Several nursing homes allow us to visit door-to-door with the residents, most of whom are happy to converse.

Nursing Home Ministry

The IHCC nursing home/retirement home ministry is an outreach to the residents, usually at a Sunday afternoon church service. A typical service consists of singing traditional hymns, a lesson from Scripture, and personal visitation afterwards. A teacher, a piano player, and a song leader usually complete the team for each service. There are several places in Lincoln where IHCC has a service every Sunday.

Van Ministry

If you need a ride to church services, our van ministry can come pick you up.

Our van ministry functions Sundays for 4-year-old children to adults and Wednesdays for 4-year-old children to 12th graders.
