Questions to ask yourself:

1. Is my opinion of the situation based on what is written in Scripture or based on my opinion?

2. Does my opinion of the situation include any judgments about the person’s motives?

3. Am I missing any facts that are necessary for an accurate evaluation?
John 7:24 “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”

4. How would I want this person to think of me if the roles were reversed?
Matthew 7:12 “Treat others as you would want to be treated.”

5. How can I show the grace of the cross to this person?

Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus.”
